jeffrm Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 I tried strapping my amps the other day and I had them wired up correctly, but my subs were making a very high pitch noise and when I turned it up they both went into protect. What could be my problem? Could it be too low of ohm load? SPL KID Posted May 27, 2012 Report Share Posted May 27, 2012 What amps do you have and did you follow the manuals instructions closely. there should be a switch for one to be slave and one to be master.. have you switched those. Im strapping the rd 1750 with an atomic 1600 only because its what I have. OHHH I just read your using different amps.... Don't go by what one company says.. you need the head nod from them both! I wouldn't do that with 2 different amps. Check to see if there defective now and if either are I'd talk again to the guy who told you yes it's fine and get him to give you a new set that will strap on the house! Ive checked the boards and they have the same numbers for parts, same resistors, and all. They were seeing .5 each.
