pa-pa-platypus
that is honestly up to you as far taking an inch from the top and adding some length.. as long that port is loading properly off the side wall wont make much difference.. just make sure youre getting the proper airspace for you subs thats whats key Quote This isn't teeball. CleanSierra
i also just ordered the port..............................hopefully by the end of next month...........i should be having BASS back in my life I'd make the aero 19 inches long and tune to mid 34s. 13" length tunes you to almost 40Hz. I'd much rather be tuned mid 30s on those SAs rather than 40. Just my opinion, I know those subs CAN sound good in high 30s tuned boxes, so it's more up to you. *Edit-I used the dimensions in your MOST recent post for the dimensions of the box that I threw into Torres. bigmescan
The port I ordered is 17in long and you would make the box 36x14x11x5? How would I make the port longer? CleanSierra
17" long port puts you at 36Hz. Honestly, that's probably just fine. It's not worth going to home depot for 4" PVC and a coupler. I'd just rock that entire port and let er rip. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
