that is honestly up to you as far taking an inch from the top and adding some length.. as long that port is loading properly off the side wall wont make much difference.. just make sure youre getting the proper airspace for you subs thats whats key

I'd make the aero 19 inches long and tune to mid 34s. 13" length tunes you to almost 40Hz. I'd much rather be tuned mid 30s on those SAs rather than 40. Just my opinion, I know those subs CAN sound good in high 30s tuned boxes, so it's more up to you.

*Edit-I used the dimensions in your MOST recent post for the dimensions of the box that I threw into Torres.

The port I ordered is 17in long and you would make the box 36x14x11x5?

How would I make the port longer?

I appreciate the help........I'm just ready to build it and hear it.....its been over 7 months no bass.....but I did the doors first then bought both amps and the xspower batt.... And now the subs and then maybe a rf360....but I wish I already had bought the dd1

just go BIG for a fullsize 12, or 2 like im about to do with my single cab f150 check it out!

if you havent bought the subs switch to 2 10's as i have in mine can get PLENTY loud if you get the box right....1 6" inch aero..ill say that much :)

Appreciate that guys...but I've run 10' 12's 15's so I wanna go the 8 route and see what I can do with them.....and I've considered the sa10 but its something bought that lil beefy ass 8 that has my intrigued...and if I'm not happy with them I will throw them in the wifeys Kia Soul.
