No body knows more about trunks than terry

But.

Id do 5.2 after with the box cut short sideways so there is 8" left on 1 side

Subs forward, 3 4" aeros firing sideways. Tuned to 37ish.

But thats me.

thanks guys.

in my specific design i dont have room to sacrifice sideways really unless i lose some airspace.

would around the 5 cubes net and the 3 4 inch aeros subs and ports firing forward still do well?

i

I have made plenty of boxes for my hdc3 12's I tried all placements I could think of and I keep going back to one box. Side firing aeros (four 4" aeros) forward firing subs.

I'd say about 4.5 cubs net. Two 6" or Four 4" aeros or 1 8" aero. As for the placement you will just have to try different styles. My car seems to like side firing port and subs towards the front or back not much of a difference for daily but forward firing seems to be a little better and not as much trunk flex.

Hope that helps some.

that box seems slightly small. DD loves their space. thanks for th einput. im considering.

so 37 sq of aero port is enough port area for 2 12s? with 7.67 in per cube?

take a look at my build...its nothing fancy, but it'll give you an idea. I'm only running a single 9512h off of one M3a.

i saw yours as well. porting through my rear deck is not an option. how large are those 3 aeros? 4 inchers?

that video ain't nothing lol now that I have my Singer alt it will be brutal, that is until I get my M3a back from dB-r. It knocks hard and gets stupid low.....Tech N9ne - Hunterish and World Wide Choppers...fuckin insane. Anything Decaf and Cyberoptix just destroys. It sounds great.

Not sure how many aero's you will need since your running 2, but these DD's love big boxes and push ALOT of air.

1 x Fi Audio SP4 V2 12" D2 Fully Loaded

1 x Wolfram W-4500.1

2 x XS Power D5100's
