Wall behind 2nd row or right behind 1st row?

Recommended Posts

if i were to put a wall behind the 2nd row in a tahoe with 4 15" DC XL's , would it be any different than putting it behind the 1st row? i would kind of like to ride around with more than 2 people sometimes thats why im wondering how much of a difference it would make :/

oh and ... i was thinking a 4th order wall? or shoot me opinions on what should be best

youre likely to lose some output from having it behind the 2nd row..more cabin area..but it can be done blake hunts is the best example of it being done successfully...but with 4 15's i see no need for a wall in a tahoe.. can get plenty loud with a regular ole street box

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned

would a street box be good just as good? idk i was thinking of doing something new in this plane jane town and having the first wall around here. Plus i love the big builds. thats why i love car audio. the adrenaline gets pumping for all your hard work waiting to sit in the car the first time and the anticipation of that first demo to yourself . it all pays off after it .

im doing 4 15 Fi SSD's in a street box (16 cubes after displacement tuned to 28-29ish hz ) on 5k

im not expecting huge numbers

from my understanding walls are mainly to get numbers as it shortens the air space

im thinking after this build (even if its100% to my expectations ) ill wall it off and go big on some monster power i already removed my back seats lol

down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups

I think 4 in street box = no need for wall

4 in 4th or 6th order = wall

I don't see a need of it behind 1st row unless it's numbers you chasing as you should easy fit it behind 2nd row

Myself I like walls but have never had the need for one,

I do like to know I make, but only ever test once or twice on a set up just for fun,
