IndianaBassHead Posted June 1, 2012 Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 Quick question, I just picked up a dd-1 and it shows one flash of clipping on 33 volume out of 40 but then if i continue to turn it up, the light goes off and doesn't show up again. So am I safe to tune the amp on 40 volume since the clip light isn't on? I know in the manual it says not to worry about one flash but it stays on if I leave it on 33 volume but not above. It does the same thing on the amp when It's about 1/2 way but doesn't show a continues clip signal until about 3/4 of the way up. I just want to make sure everything is perfect. thanks for the help! Thats why I was making sure I didn't have it cranked up too high. But when I ran it through the amp to check the head unit like it says in the book, it worked perfect. But my mids/highs sound fine at max volume.
