pimpedout97x
in my mini, ive got a sunroof will the pressure from the MT cause it to eventually leak or anything? i dont want to have ANY problems. what i was thinking, was takine a piece of 1/2" or even 3/4" birch, and putting it under the sunroof, above my headliner, and covering it in suede to match my headliner, to block the pressure from getting to the sunroof. what do you guys think? David
I welded Mine into the car, now Ijust gotta finish sealing it up with fiberglass. you could try your idea but I dont think it will work without some serious work

Derrick824
will the pressure from the MT cause it to eventually leak or anything? Yes it will leak. The roof in my Explorer leaks like crazy. My Yukon isn't as bad but it leaks too. Guys who compete with sunroofs or pop-out side windows will seal them up with some kind of glue/epoxy. kbreudi
Ok i got a sun roof too and im confused lol. I hope this aint a stupid question but what are talking about leaking? Air preasure when competing, OR water leaking in ? LOL i can see how both would be a problem Quote TEAM SUNDOWN 4 Nightshade 15"s 2 Sundown SAZ-4500 8 Deep Cycle batts 1998 Cadillac Catera SPLMAX CUP 2008 Fourth Place Overall
dmanson
i got a sunroof myself and that's why i'm not competing period. my roof period flexes and i know that sunroof would make my score drop tremendously. but i like daily banging with my sunroof back. dmanson
well regardless a sunroof is always a no no for metering but hell you can give it a try and see what numbers you can pull though. the sunroof might act as a port if you crack it slightly.
