soundstream15 Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 i finally got a audioque remote gain for my amp because the one that came with it was damanged and i never sent it back till last week but, how does it work tho? i no some people said where your amp gain is at the remote gain will not go past that, also how accurate is the clipping light on it? when it blinks am i clipping or solid red? i no a few people said when it says your clipping your really not so im confused Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

AMI CUSTOMS Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 (edited) Think of it like this, the gain at the amp is a coarse adjustment and remote gain knob is a fine adjustment. Clip light blinking means you are "soft clip", solid red means you are clipping. So just don't make it solid red and you are fine.
