KMS Posted June 10, 2012 Report Posted June 10, 2012 My mom just picked up a cooper s with the Harmon Kardon stereo. Wondering if anyone has worked on these and ever came upon the speaker pop. It's the front passenger side. The stereo doesn't play while the popping occurs. The pop occurs about every 3-5 seconds. I noticed driving it home that around the time I hit a bump the stereo started playing. However the front driver speaker wasn't working. There is a loud air horn like AM static sound while parked. I switch the bands, and the noise doesn't go away while I switch. It went away on it's own and came back about 30 seconds later. Alpine PDX-V9 Morel Tempo 6 Alpine SBR-S8-4 Alpine CDE 149BT

So does anyone know an aftermarket amp I can use to replace the original one but be able to keep all the features? Like the nav, and what not.
