Duece22 Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Hey guys. I bought some MDF wood today. Im going to start the box build within a week. So im looking for suggestions on the design. Should the sub be up and port back? What usually works best in a trunk? Im using a Fully Loaded 18' Fi BTL powerd by a Bxi2607d. I can give everyone my trunk measurements if needed. gotFI? Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 do the rear seats fold down? if so, go with sub forward/ port forward. there was no way i would be able to fit my old fi bl 18" in my trunk. or try sub back/port up, fire port to the rear deck lid. someone correct me if off alittle.

Is there any way i could see a 3d diagram? lol sub back/ port up is the best way for your set up. did you by the 18" yet? if not, 2 15"s has more cone area then the 18".

I actually was considering 2 15 bls. But where im from down here in KY, not even our local dealers have heard of 18" Fi BTLs. So i wanted to be the first one to get one around my town.
