brandonlearL7 Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 I bought a DC Audio Level 4 18" with Level 5 softparts about a month ago. Today I was playing Welcome Back by Young Jeezy, and when it hit the lows, it just sounded like air. This is the first time I've played anything low on the sub, and I just want to make sure I'm not going to damage it. I have it wired @ 1 ohm, gain on around 32 volts, subsonic around 30-35, bass boost off, LPF around 120hZ. If a video would help, I could do that and post it here. I'm just worried about damaging the sub. SnowDrifter Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 Box specs? Is it the same one in your sig? Is your port rounded over? turn your low pass to 60hz too. Sounds a lot better. Turns down your subsonic too, 35hz might be your problem. i believe its 34Wx24Hx16D, 8 inch aeroport.. I'd have to check for sure.
