dont want to pay 500 for HO alt. can i just add another stock one to my system?

yeah i need more amperage, but the ho alts for my 99 grand cherokee laredo are like 500 bucks. i can get another stock 136 amp alts for like 80 bucks. can i just add that to my system? i would need a bracket and a y splitter for the connections right?

yep, basically..

thats really it? a belt too obviously lol. but if i go to a junk yard and rip out an alternator and cut the harness cant i just splice the wires in and make a brakcet for it and get a bigger belt that will go over both alt pulleys? will it charge weird or make to many volts or anything weird like if you parralel or seiries speakers\batteries you get different out comes??

nope, it will work the same, thats how you add a second alt, is splice into the current harness just the way you said.

yep, quite a few people run a stock alt and a high output alt together and have never had issues, as long as both are charging at the same voltage
