I'm currently building a ported enclosure for my 2 Sundown Audio SA15s. It is 38" wide, 28" deep, and 14.75" tall. Port is 4.5" wide, 18.5" long with a 2" L port. Is this box okay for the subs? I beleive it's tuned to 33.5 hz. Is port area okay? Thanks everybody!

how much port area is there and what's your net volume?

2 common walls or 3?

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

Do yourself a favor and don't use RE calc. ever.

use torres. 3 common walls. 7 cubes net with about 14 sq inches per cube of port.

the L port is 3 common walls in torres. physical port length IS the length of that L. RE doesn't account for any displacements. and is overall very inaccurate compared to Torres.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
