I'm currently building a ported enclosure for my 2 Sundown Audio SA15s. It is 38" wide, 28" deep, and 14.75" tall. Port is 4.5" wide, 18.5" long with a 2" L port. Is this box okay for the subs? I beleive it's tuned to 33.5 hz. Is port area okay? Thanks everybody!

Have had many different net volume measurements.. Re and Torres are so far apart.. So I don't know which to choose with the L port. Subs are also on top. Common walls?

Do yourself a favor and don't use RE calc. ever.

use torres. 3 common walls. 7 cubes net with about 14 sq inches per cube of port.

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

the L port is 3 common walls in torres. physical port length IS the length of that L. RE doesn't account for any displacements. and is overall very inaccurate compared to Torres.

Okay, well the box is getting finished.. With previous dimensions. Port could possibly be 5.5" wide if needed and another 1.25" long. Will it be okay the way I have it?

torres, still not 100% on the port tuning from what im heard but its only suppose to be off by a hair.

singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
