Gnarkill Posted July 3, 2012 Author Report Posted July 3, 2012 im not that impressed by the system but i works until i find better woofers bigger amp and change the front speakers. im thinking about putting in 3 10" woffers for more power, im currently running 2 10" Mtx T6610-44 at 1ohm. when im standing outside the car you cant even hear the stereo sound so thats good. does anyone have any recomendations on some good 10" subs and a good amp? how do i setup the gain volym knob that came with the amp? i have a litte problem also with the sub, i sanded it down yesterday so it would fit in the trunk more precise, but now when i open the door or window on the car the overall volume of the bas goes up alot, what can be the cause of this?

purplesyrup Posted July 4, 2012 Report Posted July 4, 2012 there is many answers to your question if you browse around, tuning your amp is a trial and error deal based off of your box, tuning, subs ect, sounds like you need a friend that is near by that understands car audio, if you cant hear your system from outside your car, there is something wrong. 2 10inch subs will easily be clearly audible from outside of your car take some pictures of your stereo setup so we can further understand what is going on here

Gnarkill Posted July 4, 2012 Author Report Posted July 4, 2012 Yesterday i changed the positive and negative cables from the alternator to the battery and the ground wires fron original to 4 AWG. im also going to change the amp cabels to the 4 awg aswell.
