well im going to buy new subs the orion XPRpro but i dont know if i should go with the 102 or the 122, they DVC 2ohm or is it better to with 4 ohm subs?

If you are in the market for new subs... Look into DC,FI,AA,Sundown they all have great products and affordable lines of product for just about anyone

I would say soundstream has mid level quality products, not terrible, not great, somewhere in between. I would rank soundstream in the same class as hifonics.

Back in the mid 90's, the top shit was, or, at least the most expensive was, Soundstream, Alpine, Eclipse, Diamond Audio, Now they have all done some incredible things to change the game in certain ways. Then in the upper 90's you started seeing MMATS and DD AUDIO putting out subs unlike i had ever seen from any company.

Then since then there are quite a few audio companies that have sprung up all changing the game as far as performance per price.

But now, like bassface said, they are just ok unless you get into to big stuff, ($$$$)

I'll back up the alpine type R all day long though, one hell of a sub for the money.

Now all that randomness being said,

From much browsing on youtube I have noticed there are some cult type audio brands being produced in Europe, I can't remember the brands, but I've seen quite a few beasts that i have never seen on here, being plugged into 220v wall sockets and just taking it.

I would have to bust out google translate to figure out exactly whats going on, but I would suggest trying to contact some car audio competitors in sweden and see what they are running.

I'll tell you one thing, not a hardly a single product in the compitition circuit is available at any of the 4 true car audio shops in my area. its funny because they host the events and no one is runnin they're stuff because its all mainstream just ok grade stuff.

Where I am going with this is, figure out what kind compititions grade brands are being built around you, then see what options they have that fit your budget.

Most of these brands like DD, AQ, FI, SUNDOWN, INCRIMINATOR, DC and more have products that will destroy mainstream products at 2 to 3 times the price.

Sorry for all the rambling, just trying to brainstorm and help you find some options

I am pretty certain you can get DD AUDIO in Sweden, theyre entry level stuff is great.

Thanks Purplesyrup, well my statring budget is about 2500usd thats like 18000 in swedish money after that i can allways upgrade the system in steps.
