How should i mount me sub box in the car??

Iv always had my box facing twords the trunk because iv heard you get the best effect from it, but lately on here and on youtube iv seen that some people face the box tword the cab or well front, and i was wanting to try the front mounting but cme on here for some suggestions, which way should i put my sub box

if you intend to front fire be prepared to spend a lot of time sealing off your gaps around the box. if its not sealed your output will suck

I meant, firing subs back just rattles the crap out of your trunk and makes subs sound like they are inside a tin can, who want's to listen to that? Sealing off and playing forward helps eliminate that.
