No they are totally different optics altogether bro... I dont have an Acog but N8 does... Maybe he can chime in and help describe the difference...

I know the eotech's can have added magnifiers added for longer distance and I believe Acog's are set magnification plus they have bullet drop compensation graphs in the scope to i believe

An ACOG is made by trijicon. it is a compact telescopic sights with tritium illuminated reticle patterns for use in low light or at night. It has magnification

An EOTECH is a holographic in and of itself is a red dot sighting system with no magnification.

Gotcha, my uncle got it for me and I really like it. It would be fun to purchase an acog and see the difference. The ACOG looks more like a scope while my eotech is not magnified.
