Hotdog
Another run from front to back on power wire and and 2 or 3 big Batts in back like the BT120's or D3100 along that line. CleanSierra
I was actually JUST coming back to the thread to edit and tell you I had found your vehicle. Singer makes a bigger alt for that car, I just emailed him about an alternator for the xB and he makes a 270A that fits in stock location on that car. To really answe your original question, I think your alt WILL work just fine with the battery under the hood. To be comfortable(if it were my vehicle) I'd want at least 2 Group 31s in the back to be able to keep up. That amp is going to ask for a LOT of amperage from your car at full tilt. HunterJohnson
Yeah I think I'm going to stick with two 1500's strapped if I decide to upgrade. Doing the math for a 4500, at 13v I would need 549.45AH's, even with my 220 alt I would need around 362.45 AH in battery reserve. Strapping two 1500's at 13v will only require 384.6AH my alt will bring that number down to 195, and a bt 120 and 2 BT-20's will be nearly a perfect match.
