Crysis For Ps3?!

Do any of yall think the PS3 could handle crysis and if its goin to come out any time soon for ps3? I heard that the best comps out right now with the 3-way SLi could barely handle crysis on ultra high settings i was just wondering since the ps3 is so powerfull wit 7 cores running at 3.2ghz and its powerfull RSX GPU could it handle crysis? and would it be running on the dx9 or dx10 version

for starters 3 way sli, is more expensive then a ps3 alone,if you went and bought 3 way sli you would have to get all the other pc parts to keep up with the graphics, e.g 3 way motherboard, 3gb ram min, quad core etc. And second if they made it for ps3 they would remake the whole engine so it would be playable for people. You have a look at some games with the hi-def cable e.g assasins creed, looks better then crysis on high by far, i just got my high-def cable for my ps3 and every single game, exept poker, looks better then crysis, better physics, etc.

So yes the ps3 would be able 2 handle Crysis, because they would remake Crysis so it can play on the platform, they would prob add extra.

If you have a ps3 with hi-def cable, get a game that you have on the pc also and compare it with your ps3, absolutely kills the pc graphics, anyway my point is made.

As for it coming out on ps3, only time will tell.

lol im using an HDMI cable for my ps3 and it looks pretty nice on cod4 =P

It is suppose to be ported to the next-gen consoles. Ha....I bet the PS3 would handle it better than the 360 anyway!

yea it should considering the ps3 has 7 cores running at 3.2ghz unlike the 360 which only has 3 cores running at 3.2ghz not to mention that powerfull RSX GPU in the ps3...

you should probably get a machine capable of playing crysis before you say every game on the ps3 except poker looks better. I play mine with all the settings at very high except shadows which is now on high and it is one of the most incredible games ive ever touched. I rarely finish games because i get bored or i dont have time but this one i did finish. I finished this one though cuz i couldnt stop playing it..... now if i had to play with my settings low just to play it i would probably agree with you but once you start cranking up the graphics your opinion might change. Im on an Alienware with 2 8800gtx SLI so it helps some But one thing is for sure, for the amount of money this machine cost, your not THAT far away on graphics from a xbox or Ps3......COD4 comes to mind. Ive got it on my 360 and the 10 minutes i played it the graphics are insane also......but crysis is still better on the PC. If they did end up making it for Ps3 they would for sure have to do something different because a console owner wouldnt stand for any problems the pc version has (like you have to have top of the line just to barely play it).

as far as the ps3 being better then the xbox 360, well everyone keeps saying it should be and will be but i still dont see it. i have both and im not seeing it. Ive got less then 1 hour on my ps3 and ive owned it for over a year. I finally got my 4th game (mx vs atv untamed) the other day and for the 5 minutes i played it, it was nice but to me not one bit better then the demo i downloaded from xbox live and played on the 360. I really really want to get into my ps3 since im a sony guy from way back, but damn nothing is grabbing my attention......also, none of you guys except maybe 2 (dave and wazabi) play sports games so i dont have any gaming buddies on ps3.

BTW: i play on a 50" plasma over vga and hdmi and both systems look awesome....if ps3 was that much better then xbox i think i would have abandon it by now
