reclocking a 6g 270a mechman

Just as title states. How do u reclock a Mechman alt? Its a 6g 270a alternator. I need to clock it 180 degrees

270 amp Mechman alt

2 12" Treo SSX custom built.

6.47 cu ft, tuned to 32Hz

2 hifonics Brutus 2400.1, strapped

1 optima yellow top

1 Kinetic HC1800

14.4v @ 29Hz, 2k RPM

over 100ft 1/0 XS flex wire

Big 3 in 1/0

100sq ft fatmat deadener

145.3 on music, 142.6 sealed on music

We do not recommend customers re-clocking units themselves. In order to properly re-clock the alternator, you will need a good quality 1/2" drive air impact gun, as well as an inch-pounds torque wrench in order to re-torque the through bolts. The main reason why we do not recommend it, it because we set the unit up with an extremely tight air gap to maximize performance. This generally requires finesse during the assembly process, otherwise the the rotor will lock up tight and not spin.
