Idk, i have the BRZ1700, which is the same thing IIRC (or close enough) and mine did that a few times till it went into protect permanently and i had to send it back. Im ASSUMING its voltage drop, IT said it was a short on the board when i called them, so I'm assuming it was caused by low voltage. Are all your connections tight? Sounds like with your electrical your voltage should drop at all let alone to 12.5, i only drop to 12.9 at idle with just a HC1400 under the hood and no big 3, just 1 run of 1/0 for my positive power cable.

woman..cant live with em...cant shoot em...guess were all fucked

You might be a Redneck if you use your leftover gutters for a speaker box port...

is there a such thing as too many grounds? can i add extra ground maybe thats an issues. all my connections are tight. and i sit at 13.9 at ilde with nothing playing.

if all the grounds have different potentials, yes, you can have too many grounds. But as long as everything is grounded to the same spot, it shouldn't be an issue. I don't know that the grounds are your issue, is your alt doing what its supposed to? Are your batteries holding their charge? I can't believe that amp strains your system that much harder than mine. Sure, I'm running at 2 ohms, but i ONLY have a STOCK 120A alt, and HC1400 under my hood, thats all my electrical consists of. The weekend after the one coming up I'm ordering my shit for the big 3 finally. So i don't even have that done. Sounds like you definitely have some sort of problem. have you tried a different amp?

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

are you playing full tilt at idle

even if he wore, he drops worse than i do...and his electrical is much better than mine...in theory....test your batteries, make sure they are holding a charge. Make sure your alt is doing its job...thats all i can really think of....check all your connections...it sounds like you got a bad connection somewhere, i mean, i don't see why your system drops worse than mine, i get down to 12.9 at full tilt at idle.
