I'm wondering if you have one for reverse, and then say a second camera on the top of your cab, like in the cargo light, acting as a rear view mirror (but a camera), if it would stay on that until you put it in reverse and then flip to the reverse camera? jeffrm Posted July 17, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 17, 2012 The way I have mine wired is the two rcas on the monitor are hooked into a 2 into 1 RCA splitter, and connect that to the video output on my flip-up. The monitor has an av1 and av2 ( hence the 2 rcas ). The way mines wired it doesnt matter what the monitor is on AV wise. My camera is above my licence plate and wired to my flip-up. So all I have to do is switch my flip-up to camera and ill get a picture on the screen. I can also switch to disc and have a movie playing .
