05 obs
I am going to run 3 earthquake dbxi 12's. The manual says anything from 1.5 to 2.5 cubes, so it is throwing me off. I have 1200w rms to give them. This is a daily driver non burp setup. My max dimensions are 14h x 37w x 36d. I wanted this thing to get low since I have never had a box tuned under 37ish. Any help would be great, if you need any more info let me know.
Tim Lam
thats literally perfect for those subs. a little under 3 cubes per sub with those dimensions. im personally a Aeroport guy, so my set up is just a plain box(with internal bracing of course) with a 6" aeroport tuned to ~31Hz. it sounds great. i run both of mine in a single chamber(it saves space) and just have the port between the 2 subs. aero's are also great because of how easy it is to tune them. just just a little plastic here or there. slot ports, if you want to change the tuning, you have to take the box apart or build a new one. that's my opinion
05 obs
if i do it like that will it not choke the port? and i will be using aero ports

bassface
The manufacturer recomendations will always be less than what sounds the best. They dont want you to blow the woofers so they give you specs that are safe, but not fun.
05 obs
so 3 cubes each tuned to 31hz with a single 6" aero, how about 2 4" aeros since i can get those locally?
