Chris Hammer
What about audiotechnix. Ive used it on a friends build. Good wire and good price. Im either going with them or some trystar 1/0. I can get a 50ft spool for 3/ft. It's decent sized wire though Yeah I'll definitely go with Cadence for my front to back. It's $28 shipped for 17 foot which is plenty. ***2001 GMC 2500HD Regular Cab*** -Jensen 9312 Flip-Out -2 12 inch Pioneer Step-up Shallow Mounts -Kicker ZX750.1 for Lows -Pioneer 6.5 coax in the doors -Pioneer 4x6 coax in the pillars -Old School Alpine MRV-F250 for Mids/Highs ***1969 Camaro Z/28*** -500+ cubic inch 950hp BBC + 400-650 shot of Nitrous -Audio coming soon-
ds1919
you pretty much have to do some research on each brand/model of wire. Many or most lower costing 0 gauge wire is copper coated aluminum. Its not bad, but will NOT carry as much current as pure copper. And it will get hot under full load, which will blow a fuse or heat your amps (added resistance). Stinger actually has 99% ofc at 0 ga. I think KnuConceptz does too, their better line of wire that is. Strand count isnt everything, using pure copper is where its at mostly. yeah Knu 0 ga looks like 00 ga, and I like it for some projects, but for my twin 3500w RU amps, I'm going with pure copper. You get what you pay for, and you dont get what you dont pay for.....

J R
I have a pure copper 4 gauge from front to back already but I'll still add some 0. Stupid question....But like for houses the 15 or so strand pure copper wire that's sold at lows....Dumb idea? Sure it's not flexible but what else is bad about it? ***2001 GMC 2500HD Regular Cab*** -Jensen 9312 Flip-Out -2 12 inch Pioneer Step-up Shallow Mounts -Kicker ZX750.1 for Lows -Pioneer 6.5 coax in the doors -Pioneer 4x6 coax in the pillars -Old School Alpine MRV-F250 for Mids/Highs ***1969 Camaro Z/28*** -500+ cubic inch 950hp BBC + 400-650 shot of Nitrous -Audio coming soon-
