J R
What are some decent brand to use. I know of course Knukonceptz wiring is amazing. What about bullz audio? Raptor? DB link? I've seen some comparison's but only by companies looking to sell their product. Raptor 8 gauge is good wire. 0 gauge? ***2001 GMC 2500HD Regular Cab*** -Jensen 9312 Flip-Out -2 12 inch Pioneer Step-up Shallow Mounts -Kicker ZX750.1 for Lows -Pioneer 6.5 coax in the doors -Pioneer 4x6 coax in the pillars -Old School Alpine MRV-F250 for Mids/Highs ***1969 Camaro Z/28*** -500+ cubic inch 950hp BBC + 400-650 shot of Nitrous -Audio coming soon-
mitchell830
Stay away from bullz. I got some awhile ago and it's pretty much 4 gauge haha. Xs power 0 gauge is great
xx1
I've tried raptor, and didn't like it, mechman wire seems pretty nice audio related merchandise (decals, banners, lanyards, hats, shirt, etc)
Sean Sinha
I would trust the following brands: KnuConcepts (Awesome stuff, great dollar value) Stinger (Used to be better in the opinion of some, still high quality) Kicker Rockford Tsunami XScorpion (Good value stuff, but Knu and Stinger are better) If you need good, cheap 0 Gauge, the XScorpion OFC is good. People think that Bullz=XScorpion because they are both owned by the same company. However, Bullz is cheap CCA and is more like 2 gauge, but it works depending on the application. I think Knu KCA and OFC 0 gauge offers great value. Their KCA can handle 250A. Bump4life
db link isnt bad. not sure if it is 100% OFC but My buddy has it and it is very thick and easy to run and work with. Honestly, once you go Knu, you never go back. Ray once told me from his tests 150A at 17' is what the CCA can carry. J R
I have Knu 4 gauge in my truck for a much simpler setup and I love it. I was just trying to see if there were any brands that were just as good for less. Bullz seems to be not only more like 2 gauge but it's much thicker wire and harder to break. I only figured Raptor would be decent due to their 8 gauge being great for speaker wire. So is there a difference between two Kinetik 600's vs one Kinetik 1200? Because two 600's is much cheaper. ***2001 GMC 2500HD Regular Cab*** -Jensen 9312 Flip-Out -2 12 inch Pioneer Step-up Shallow Mounts -Kicker ZX750.1 for Lows -Pioneer 6.5 coax in the doors -Pioneer 4x6 coax in the pillars -Old School Alpine MRV-F250 for Mids/Highs ***1969 Camaro Z/28*** -500+ cubic inch 950hp BBC + 400-650 shot of Nitrous -Audio coming soon-
SnowDrifter
Stinger is decent. It's not oversized or anything, but their wire is exactly what it says it is. Pretty flexible too. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
C-Fizzy
What size wire in particular are you looking for? Any 1/0 wire, I would suggest simple welding cable. That way you're not paying for a name, but instead just paying for a product. Example, my shop sells stinger hpm 1/0 for 8.99 a foot. You can get welding cable online for around 2.50 a foot. http://store.weldingdepot.com/cgi/weldingdepot/0010x.html under construction I hate People with crappy primered cars rolling on hubcaps that are louder then me. u hate c-fizzy? J R
I have 2 gauge welding wire ran from a battery under the hood to my trunk which is on a red top. I'm going to go with Knu 1/0 from that red top to hopefully a second red top, then more knu 1/0 is about to be put on most likely a kinetic hc1200. From there to my ZX2500.1 and ZX350.4. ***2001 GMC 2500HD Regular Cab*** -Jensen 9312 Flip-Out -2 12 inch Pioneer Step-up Shallow Mounts -Kicker ZX750.1 for Lows -Pioneer 6.5 coax in the doors -Pioneer 4x6 coax in the pillars -Old School Alpine MRV-F250 for Mids/Highs ***1969 Camaro Z/28*** -500+ cubic inch 950hp BBC + 400-650 shot of Nitrous -Audio coming soon-
