so been a while scince i updated, not a whole heap of work at the moment, the back of the box is on its 3 layers thick then 2x4s than another layer of 18mm mdf. have started the battery box and amp rack but no major progress pics as of yet.. hopefulley the next few weeks ill have the batts and amps all ready to go. just a couple pics of the rear wall

ok some wiring has been run, its shok 1/0 elite referance cable, 4 runs of pos front to back and 6 1/0 grounds to the chassis

hi, got some small updates , buzz bars in and kinda wired , but my favourate update so far is ive upgraded to LVL6 18's with carbon cones and pretty much every option on them, i beleive "fully loaded" is the term. so a big thanks to the guys at dc and xMplar over here in oz for getting these for me

now i have also posted this in the DC section but i figured that there would be people look through this then the dc specific forum, im after opinions on the box desigh, its my first attempt at a sixth order, the rear is 35ft^3 @ 25hz the front is 13ft^3 @50hz.

Wow, that just got a big upgrade in subs!!! Them level 6s are BEAST aren't they?? I dont know about that HU, but everything else looks NICE!! And that wall looks like its gonna be pretty solid!

cheers they are huge mofos indeed, as for the hu - first time using blaupunkt so hopefully it should be sweet, thanks bro doing my best. its solid as just a short vid i made to show the worked on areas vs the non finished areas of the car

On the box design, I'm pretty sure the back low tuned side is supposed to be the smaller side and the 'front' side is supposed to be the larger side.

And then the smaller ported side is, as a rule of thumb, around the volume of the max recommended sealed.

After that try to figure out a ratio that you want/can fit such as 2:1 then to tune the large side to your resonant frequency.

Simple as that :)
