amp sooooo hot

Would the fuse be causing amp heat? And I know I will tune amp with smd thingy tomorrow. I just finished install and wanted to hear it. So setting everything but the gain to 0. Sounded loud as he'll but very hot.

possibly. when you start pulling enough current to get to the rated point of the fuse, the internal filament will start to heat up, causing resistance in the power line. amps HATE resistance on the power side. causes major voltage drop and heat

edit: someone correct me if im wrong, but thats what i've learned

That's pretty much correct. It's like you're putting a choke on the wire. 0 Gauge, I typically fuse at 150A-250A, depending on application, but 100A to a 150A amp is definitely not optimal.

Might want to set the Subsonic to 20-25hz and LP set to around 80hz? That caught my eye first. Maybe those settings are causing a little heat?
