Play the tone you want, and slowly increase the gain until the clip light comes on. Then back it down a notch. Are you using a remote bass knob? Are your speakers hooked up when you are setting the amp? Should not have subs hooked up. Is your car off? Should be off. car is usually on, why would i want it off? and sub isnt hookhed up. and no bass knob, only gain. which i put in the middle, but never go above that either. . . as far as the EQ. i turned them down when i did the amp, didnt see the matter but ok ill leave it flat until after amp is set Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Also ignore the guy telling you to not run full tilt before breaking them in. Mikey Bates Posted July 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2012 So i redid with the car off, (i think that was it) and things seem to be better. sub gets warm after some serious bumpin and time and little smell but i believe that cuz of a dirty song so. thank guys!!
