Omega5002
Depends on how much room you're working with, since you're driving a Mustang, you won't really have much room for either option. Ported over sealed though in my opinion. Bump4life
im sorry man im not trying to be a dick but dont try to cram 2 15s in a mustang. that will just make those subs sound worse than thye already are. you would have a chance at making them sound ok in a good box but BOSS isnt known for having a great product anymore. you would most likely be happier with the output and sound quality of a single better 12 than both those 15s crammed in there. if you really want to do it sealed is prolly the way to go. but dont expect quality bass out of it. dont even try ported unless you are great at fiberglassing and dont mind giving up your whole trunk. good luck with what ever you choose. Guest
your amp will do realistically 1500 at 1 ohm. the woofers are heating up because either 1, you're clipping due to gain being too high, or bass boost on, or some equalizer on when it shouldnt be. or 2, they cant handle power. only point towards the front of the car if you can seal around the entire edge of the sub box. otherwise its pointless Edited July 26, 2012 by Kranny
Bump4life
go with 12s based on those dimensions.
