Recommended Posts

ok I will go for it .. thanks a lot for help !!!

the only problem which I have is that I dont really have a good place to make all cuts etc so I will just go to home depot and they will cut it for me ..

I might have some problems with cutting the port in the front pieces and the circles but I will go for it anyways ...

any advises or anythin I should be careful about ?

sometimes Loud is NOT pretty

Sounds like its safe to go ahead and bend that ass over.

Front to Back = 16 5/8 x 14 1/2

Extension = 13 x 14 1/2

length of the port include the 45 corners ? or I need to add 3/4" for the 45?

edit;

16 5/8 with the 45

or 16 5/8 + 3/4 = 17 3/8 ?

No, the length of the port parts are final and the 45s do not alter tuning in any significant way. The one in the port turn MUST be made in a way that the port width stays the same, take a look:

If the port narrows at the turn then the whole box performance can be compromised. If you can't do those cuts right is better not to do any 45s at all.
