Thanks.

Post your max dims for the box. and amp model.

38" Long

18" High

20" Width

DX 1000.1 Mono D block amp - 1036 RMS

Those are what i'm working with. As for the measurments they can rise a little if needed.

So here is a suggestion Subs up/port back:

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 34 Hz

Vb = 5 ft^3

External Height = 18 in

External Width = 38 in

External Depth = 20 in

Port Width = 4 1/4 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.

* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 38 x 20

Left & Right Sides =

Side 1 = 18 1/2 x 15 3/4

Side 2 = 19 1/4 x 15 3/4

Front = 33 x 15 3/4

Back = 38 x 15 3/4

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 14 1/4 x 15 3/4

Extension = 2 x 15 3/4

Assembly guide (generic dimensions):

Double baffle is recommended but not strictly necessary.

Let me know any changes, comments or questions.

I have kind of the same question, But I'm trying to squeeze my 15 inch L7 in the back of my volvo S70. I'm been messing with Torres and Google sketch and have came up with several boxes. but I want the best bang for the space. I have limits on it due to the trunk but maybe you guys can help me out and take advantage of the center arm rest that folds down in the middle of the back seat for where the port should be. (probably a bad idea but I'm looking for something to really pound) 17H x 44W x 17D

this is the 17 inch tall box I made up using Torres

I've done a lot of research, don't buy the L7. You can get something a lot louder for a lot cheaper.
