I'm not a competitor so I'd just get a bigger amp if I need more power. Such as Skar 4500

learned my lesson from getting dual 1's wiring in a series to see a 1 ohm load had major box rise.

but do what ya want parellel wiring is more efficient

edit didnt realize you already ordered the woofers

If rise is a big problem I'll run them parallel at .25 ohms or I'll run a separate amp to each so .5 each. I got more options with D1 instead of a D2 where I'm lowest .5 ohms

there ya go alot of people on here would be totally against runnin at .25 but ive seen people run that daily without any problems

Personally I wouldn't but if I had to, I would as long as I take my time setting and tuning EVERYTHING right and don't blow my equipment

My question is if you are going to do all of the work it takes to do the kerfing, why not do a little more and do all of the port walls?

Skar amps are too damn expensive for my taste ever thought about a crescendo 5500 same thing really
