There are adapters,.. nice adapters made to get your 1/0 to get into a 4g

Dude,... I have to know what amp you have?... 2k with a 4g input.... what amp you running my friend?

My 1000.4ad that BS at close to 300 per channel has 4g toss ins as well...... just asking is all bud..

I never thought of size adapters though thanks guys. But the only reason I suggested the distribution block is because I will be adding another amp soon and getting some mids and highs to replace the doors. Just slowly piecing my system together as I get the money. I'm ordering a h/o alt soon

you can also solder the shit out of the wire then grind it down so it fits perfectly, or just chop some off whatever floats ur boat. just options using stuff you alrdy have instead of gauge reducers and distro blocks

One more question, would a 230a alt be okay for my amp with stock battery or would I need a better one? Such as xs?

that'd be plenty for sure. dont need another battery but a nice agm battery wouldnt hurt

And it gives you the flexibility to use straight 4 gauge to your sub amp or 1/0 with 1/0 to 4 gauge reducers. I'll draw you up a diagram in a bit

Make sure you use the same size wire for the ground that you do use for the power wire on the amps

option 1 seems to be the best, but if im correct you mite wanna have two batts if your running two amps, depends on your amp and sub set up but it will be something to look forward for in the future
