Ok to build wall on folded seats and with headliner in?

Recommended Posts

just a thought for your future build....go with 2 lvl4's and get a 2nd 2k and run 2k on each sub in a Cpillar wall...2k on each sub should get loud and doing a setup like this will help to keep your cost down as you would only need to buy 1sub and 1amp instead of 3subs and a 5k amp...that would leave you more money to upgrade your electrical too

I am debating doing a Cpillar with 2 18s or doing 8 8s below the window line...now if I were starting with the equipment you have now I would Cpillar 2 18s

you're going to be teasing yourself with 4k in a wall. especially after you hear other peoples builds.

Then again some walls can get loud under 4k

the thing is would 2 18s in a Cpillar on 4k be louder than 4 18s in a Bpillar on 5k?

box looks fine, dont expect to do 151 though...

im not expecting to do a 151 with 2k. . . and the amp i have now is only like 1200 clean and on good eletical like 1500-1600clean. . . i can get a crescendo bc3500 and eltrical to support that. for one 18 so i may do that. or just a 2k crescendo either way heres the box to those specs earlier except for the sub hole lol

My last build was an Explorer Sport so kind of similar to the same as this, space wise. I threw up bigger numbers with 1 18 Fi Q and less power than your running. Before you try to go crazy to get numbers you have to test, test, test, and test some more. My Explorer ran sub up port back on drivers side, did other boxes but that sounded best to ears.

Don't do a wall till you get the proper funds. What I would suggest, is get another box built and test/play around with some boxes and continue to save your money to go big later on.
