Kevin M
I have been looking at a bunch of processors and I may have found a lower cost alternative to the big boys. These are really popular with the HT crowd. I have seen them in a few car installs as well. Parametric and graphic 30 band EQ for L+R, adjustable x-over slopes and more. http://www.minidsp.com/products They also have add-ons for a rear and center channel. with the same processing power. Here is their forum http://www.minidsp.com/forum/7-car-audio-projects Any of the big dogs want to chime in on this? onebadmonte
Not really. A refurbished MS-8 can be had for $400 shipped directly from the JBL store on ebay. A comparable Mini DSP unit is $500 plus the plugins and the power supply. By that point you're only $100 away from a Bit One which is intended for car use. I'd stick with the big boys on this one. Robert8252
For a three way active processor Pioneer has really made the only option the 80prs for 350. Once you get into features of say the bit.1 and such you just need to plan on spending atleast 700 to get those features in a car.
