wadewills Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 Gotta 3 quick questions. Buddy of mine has a 2010 Nissan 370z and is putting a system in it. Using an American Bass XFL 12 dual 2 ohm and a BRZ1200.1 Hifonics amp. Questions are: Would you do speaker straight up or slanted with the glass? Would you do port on same face as speaker or do port back? Does 2.5 Cubes Net @ 35hz suit this speaker? Thanks for any help! Joe X Posted August 3, 2012 Report Posted August 3, 2012 You can do sub up / port up/back really depends on the max dims you have for the box, personal preference, tests..ease of construction..etc... 2.5 cubes net will be more than enough for that single 12" (probably more than necessary), tuning is ok for a loud setup if that's what you are looking for.
