smalltownbigsound Posted August 5, 2012 Report Posted August 5, 2012 my buddy has a rockford prime 500 watt amp. the guy he got it from told him it was grounded out. so the only way to shut it off is to disconnect the power to it. the guy also said because its grounded out its pushing like 1200 watts. my buddy is trying to sell it to me. i was just wondering what exactly grounding out an amp is, if its a real thing. and if its worth the money.
