Guest Posted August 8, 2012 Report Posted August 8, 2012 sandpaper or a grinder (if you have one) tape to cover the gap. not that clear shit you use to wrap christmas presents cyanoacrylate glue enough (lots of) clamps to go around the outside of the sub something to center the coil in the gap

ALPINE408 Posted August 8, 2012 Report Posted August 8, 2012 Let not forget the fun task of cleaning alll the old glue off Things you need to recone I use A utlity knife and hammer to get most of the foam and spiders off An Angle grinder and flap disc to clean it the rest of the way I found with these tools its the fastest simplest way to get the baskets in recone condition The CA glue shims for the coil and pole piece gap some 5 pound weights and a shit load of pessure clamps The you will need wire cutters and a soldering gun with solder Have you ever had your woofers blown?
