Recommended Posts

i just got doing some routine maintenance on my system. when i check the main power wire (4ga efx) in the rear where i have it split i notice something odd.. the wire sleeve was split down about 3" so i went to fix it and notice the top of my RF distribution block it wasnt coming off .. with some force i got and thats when i notice it was all melted and twisted .. the fuse did not blow (100 amp glass) this line goes to my sub amp . where nun of the fuse on it were blown .. its an interfire 03 model .. just wondering what could cause this ? i have never had this b4

Loose connection that caused resistance to heat it up to the melting point.
