zayres29 Posted August 6, 2012 Report Posted August 6, 2012 this a competition 400a alt it is not inteded as a replacement for your factory alt it is inteded as a secondary it is rated at >40a at idle and >400a at 1800 rpm this unit was installed in a custom bracket on my 91 c1500 it was never used or even hooked up to power it is a gm large case alt with the 4 pin oval plug comes with 1/0 solid copper terminal ends asking price is 400 plus shipping to CONT US ONLY no apo or anything like that shipping will most likely be less than 30 if you would like to check to see how much it is for you my zip is 71913 and the alt weighs about 20lbs Btw that was the first person.
