Chris Hammer Posted August 8, 2012 Report Share Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) IN A NUTSHELL --- Have a rooted HTC Incredible...lost my stock revcovery file...need stock ROM that came with phone so I can go back to stable stock platform. Phone specifics CLockwork Mod Recover v3.0.0.8 if I try to go to newest version my phone really takes a crap never gets past white HTC screen...have to plug it into computer and reload v3.0.0.8 Thats not the problem though. Right now I'm running CM7 cyanogenMod 7 I forget the exact one I think its 7.1 or 7.2 but it was a "stable" not a release candidate. Anyways my problem is that I want to go back to stock. I believe the phone came with 2.2 Froyo. I need a stock rom for my phone. Nothing modified. I would like to keep it rooted for free tether...thats about it. I dont care about overclocking etc...been down that road had my fun and now I just want the stable stock rom back so I can use my phone as a phone LOL. Have a ipod touch for apps and jailbreaking etc... Any help is appreciated..I know I fudged up by accidentally deleting the only recovery I had for the stock rom. Also. I havent had a stock rom backup in months. Ive been running CM7 for over a year now and every month or so the phone takes a crap..either restarts or freezes than eneters a bootloop. I factory reset delete the cache and go back to last backup I have and repeat every month or so.
