So, i'm new to car audio and about a month or two ago I put in a 2001 dodge caravan, 1 10" ssa dcon 4 ohm dvc in a 1.25 cube box tuned to 28 hz and I just threw a cheap 50$ lanzar amp on it as well as a cheap amazon wiring kit. (stock stereo btw) Now I know that I have done this very cheaply and that It's not going to be insane or anything near it with just one 10" woofer but I Was wondering if there's any ways to up the output a little possibly better wire? or a new amp? My brother keeps telling me that neither one will do much as far as output and will only effect sound quality. Here's a link to the amp and the wiring kit: http://www.amazon.co...keywords=lanzar http://www.amazon.co...ds=boss+amp+kit. Now just consider the fact that I am 14 before judging my cheap fix. Beleive it or not though, it really does put out as it is I just need more. (I used to have 2 15" cerwin vegas ran at 400 rms each in my bedroom So I know beat when i hear it) Thank you for any suggestions!

How is your box setup? What way is the sub and port facing? For you being only 14 im sure money is tough to come by for car audio equipment, so I would focus more on perfecting the box, because wood is relatively cheap and all it requires is a little time, work and knowledge to make it sound as good as possible.

Why the hell do you have a single 10 tuned to 28hz?

You're losing major output there.

Build a new box tuned higher, maybe 37-40
