8ight Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 My friend just bought an '07 Suburban and wants to spend a good chunk of change on a system. He plans on running 4 AQ HDC3 18s off of a BC5500. Can anyone design me a box that is no wider than 40", no taller than 28", and no longer than 54"? I hear AQ subs like a big box so it can be anywhere within those specs shaving height if any dimension is to be shrunk first. He wants the subs up port back, tuned to 25hz. Can anyone help me with a box? The material will be 1" MDF with a double 3/4" baffle, fiberglassed interior with bracing done via threaded rod to save volume. The box only needs to be big enough to sound good, the dimensions here are the max he has to work with. I'm gonna hate
