What equiptment do I need to get 155+ db

Recommended Posts

pyle subs deff the the coolest imo...

im just not sure if i should lean towards power with 4 nice 15s or cone with 8 sa 15s the only reason I originnaly thought of doing 8 is because i already have 4 sa 15s whats another 4 rather than going through the hassle of selling my current subs.

but now when i think about it 8 15s in a mid size sedan just seem to be a bit silly imo... i just want to get a 55-60

That amp is a beast but with 4 subs on one amp your gonna get stupid ohm rise get 2 of those amps I dunno I don't do the whole fan boy thing and try to make choice for you get amps that will do over 10k but I would do ether 2 or 4 smaller amps for your app

It only took me 6 18's and about 40,000 watts 15 16 volt batts to do a 160 just fyi for you 160 goal 155 is much easyer to obtain

Alpine, was this doing 160s daily on music or burp?

(not a thread jack this is still related lol)

OP, we have very similar goals with our rebuilds ill be watching for sure! I hope to be doing around the same numbers with 2 18s

burp i got it to a 157.x on music

Have you ever had your woofers blown?

wire that 1100.1 down to .25 (have solid electrical to back it up) .. I run mine daily at .25 single battery in the trunk.. 350 amp alt.. I am doing 147/148 on 12"s on a trunk on music 30 second average sealed (featherweight bassboxing) ... in a 06 impala

i cant see why a 155 isnt reachable with a wall... 2 15"s in a wall .. make the box right and really solid

same bro, I'm spoiled with high 40's and I get in my car with a single 12 and I'm only hitting high 30's on 1500wrms. found the problem though. solder broke off of a lead <_<
