Ludachris5150
This is the diagram im questioning... Ok so I have 2 sa-12s, D4 and a crescendo bc2k im trying to run at 1ohm. Im wondering what this picture is saying exactly? Is it saying run each - and + output wire on each sub to both sets of -'s and +'s on the amp, 1 sub per. Or is it saying take both - output wires and both + output wires and only run them off 1 - and 1 + on the amp? Sorry if the question is hard to understand. Basically is the 1st or 2nd picture the way to wire Should I wire it like this Or is this how its supposed to be done Rebuild in progress... CleanSierra
As long as ALL positive terminals from the subs make it to one set of positive outputs on the amp and ALL negatives make it to a negative output on the amp, it doesn't really matter how you do if. All + to + all - to - Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra
The amp will make it a 1 ohm final load because that is what you'll be presenting to it by wiring all positive coils to + on amp and all negatives to - on amp. Make sense? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
STEvil
Your amp output terminals are linked internally, they are just double output so you can connect more wires easier. Connect all positive sub terminals to ANY positve terminal on the amplifier (splitting them up is more efficient) Connect all negative sub terminals to ANY negative terminal on the amplifier (splitting them up is more efficient) MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed. Ludachris5150
Yeah that makes sense, Thanks for explaining it. Im going to take the "more efficient" route Rebuild in progress...
