jerril_jones Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Im running 2 DC 4xl 15's on a DC 5k. My main problem is that I'm adding another 2 DC 4xl 15's, as well as another 5k. Im in the process of building custom doors for four sets of 6.5" components. I have previously always ran Rockford Fosgate T165 or T1652 components since i started getting into car audio heavily in the past 6 years. It's not that they dont keep up phenominally, or that they just aren't that great in SQ. Neither of those things are problems.Im trying to use something in this install that no one tends to use, but will keep up just fine. each 2 sets of mids/highs will be powered by a DC 174.4 @ 4 ohms. (175 x 4 @ 4 ohms). Thinking of using either good ole T1652's or switching to either Massive Audio CK6V's or Massive audio RK6's??????? need help deciding.... any suggestions are more than welcome. 1997 S-10 extended cab 4" and 5" drop front and rear on Panther 18's. 245/40/18 (1) Kenwood Excelon DDX696 (1) Massive Audio EQ7 7-band Eq MIDS/HIGHS: (2) sets of Rockford Fosgate T165 components (soon to be 4 sets or switching to 4 sets of Massive Audio CK6X 6.5" component) (1) DC Audio 175.4 (moving up to two amps when other 2 sets of 6.5" are added with the other 2 subs.) jerril_jones Posted August 15, 2012 Author Report Posted August 15, 2012 before anyone flips their little panties up the butt..... no i am not asking for a VS or a comparison between the 2 brands (although opinions help)...... I am more asking if anyone has used or heard the Massive Audio components, or reviews on them. 1997 S-10 extended cab 4" and 5" drop front and rear on Panther 18's. 245/40/18 (1) Kenwood Excelon DDX696 (1) Massive Audio EQ7 7-band Eq MIDS/HIGHS: (2) sets of Rockford Fosgate T165 components (soon to be 4 sets or switching to 4 sets of Massive Audio CK6X 6.5" component) (1) DC Audio 175.4 (moving up to two amps when other 2 sets of 6.5" are added with the other 2 subs.) Skullz Posted August 15, 2012 Report Posted August 15, 2012 Hertz HSK 165's, Mille MLK 2 or Audison AV K6 depending on what your budget is like those don't have tons of people using them and sound awesome and take a nice amount of power. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

I was more wanting to know about the Massive Audio components. I've already narrowed my choices to Rockford or Massive, but thank you anyways man. Like i said my quesiton is more for reviews on Massive audio CK or SK components. I dont know a lot about them, just seen a lot of good reviews. Excellent choice for the hertz suggestion btw. Already have them in my Camaro (sq build). 1997 S-10 extended cab 4" and 5" drop front and rear on Panther 18's. 245/40/18 (1) Kenwood Excelon DDX696 (1) Massive Audio EQ7 7-band Eq MIDS/HIGHS: (2) sets of Rockford Fosgate T165 components (soon to be 4 sets or switching to 4 sets of Massive Audio CK6X 6.5" component) (1) DC Audio 175.4 (moving up to two amps when other 2 sets of 6.5" are added with the other 2 subs.)
