afrakes Posted August 18, 2012 Report Posted August 18, 2012 So over the last couple of weeks I have noticed my rearview mirror is rattling like a bitch. The mirror area is rattling against the plastic piece that is sorrounding it. My mirror has also been moving downward when the bass hits much worse lately, it moves so far I look in the rearview as I'm driving and I see my own knees. I have tightened down every screw there is on the damn thing ( all 2 of them) and it doesn't make a difference. Its frustrating. What can I do for this? Should I go by a junkyard and grab a new mirror off a wrecked neon, or is there a better way to go about it? Riley Evan Houser Posted August 18, 2012 Report Posted August 18, 2012 I took mine off, which makes an 8 hour drive to my mom's house on the interstate a bitch but it's very doable. Just have to drive with more awareness and constantly check blind spots. But as far as going to get a new one at a junkyard it will do the same thing over time
8ight Posted August 18, 2012 Report Posted August 18, 2012 The third time mine broke off I simply did not put it back on. Problem solved. As for you, I'd do the same before you waste your time trying to save it from the bass. I'm gonna hate
