Here is what we ended up with So, we went to the NSPL event today at Wilson Stereo and Sound. Our first run landed us 142.2Db in the 0-24 inch no-wall class. Our closest competitor at that time was only 0.6Db below us. As the day progressed, we were knocked from our top spot by someone with a 143.1Db score. I let the system rest awhile, then ran again. We gained 0.6Db, topping out at 142.8Db. Keeping our second place position and narrowing the gap. I did run one more time, but I believe I was clipping and had not given the batteries enough time to recharge. Amp hit protect and we only pulled a 142.1Db... I figured it was time to stop after that. I wont complain though, we had a good run and came out second. Awesome, lemme know when you get things rolling. Also, there was another aveo at the NSPL event. They had 2-15 kicker L7's and no back seat.... Summer semester was really whooping up on me, but we have another show coming up Saturday and I'm plugging away to get ready for it. From concept to paint, I finally got my lazy ass in gear. Here's the bracket for the alternator. Cutting it out on the mill. Cleaned up the finish and laid some silver base coat. Here's the finished blue, alongside a dual 1/0 in/out terminal block. A couple pics of the alt bracket installed. Paint turned out good, and almost matches the alt perfect (even though it is powder coated). It's easy to see the difference in wire diameter from the Cadence and Rockford 1/0. Sorry for the crappy pic, but here's the terminal installed (Dual 1/0 ground). I was debating on a line driver, after hearing just how terrible the RCA outs were on the Jensen HU. So I decided to test the RCA voltages just below distortion, 3.2 Volts.
