Gotta say, I love the dip... easy clean up, little prep work... Here's a before... Everything all laid out... Gun all topped off... A bit beyond excited at this point... Plus a bit nervous... spraying some of the trim on the vehicle, with almost no spot taped off... The rims, after a few coats... (lightly dusting) And she's done... all shining and dipped.... This is prominently displayed everytime I crank the car... Just submitted a support ticket to the guys at SonicElectronix... Hopefully, it'll just be something easy to fix.... I pulled the GPS SD card, and looked at the crash.txt file... here's what I found So, I posted all that to say this.... looks like "basemap..." has corrupted... Now the GPS is trying to request too much memory? mikelbolton Posted August 31, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2013 I found some time and completed the rest of the debadge. I think it looks pretty good. Also, I played with the files for my GPS and have it working for the time being. Found out that the Georgia .POI file (points of interest) was corrupted. This called for it to request additional memory that the GPS didn't have... I truncated the file, and restored to an older save I had. Now, I think this is an older set of maps I'm running now, but seems to be working. Also, I still never figured out what was wrong with the original base map file. Still waiting on the techs to get back to me about the unit... because short of anything else at this point, I need the new maps that came with the unit.
